On the new setting of Durbuy Adventure, in the heart of the “Espace Roc”, a surprising trip in the subterranean world is waiting for you.
The Cave James has been imagined, conceived and realised for you by Durbuy Adventure and experienced and renowned potholers.
In an natural mineral atmosphere overcome the different pitfalls and obstacles while cutting across the galleries and pipes of the Cave James….sport and pleasure assured, without taking in account a large amount of information about the world of caves and chasms, thanks to five thematic rooms equipped with illustrated and multilingual panels.
An activity recommended to sportsmen and lovers of sensation.
Accessible from 10 years or from 5 years when accompanied by the parents.
Helmet & frontal headlamp provided, bring along a canvas overall or old clothes.

Possibility of 4 different courses :
- The green course (very easy) reckons about 30 minutes
- Parcours orange (facile) : environ 1h
- Parcours rouge (difficile) : environ 30 minutes
- Parcours noir (frayeur) : environ 2h
| The natural subterranean world is a very delicate environment, human presence and the repeated coming through of inexperienced people cause irreparable damage.
This is a parameter of which Durbuy Adventure is perfectly conscious. Therefore in the respect for a durable environment and in a concern for the protection of nature, Durbuy Adventure has devoted a heavy investment in order to create a from start to finish natural cave made up from limestone rock blocks laid out in a natural space with limestone faces within the “Espace Roc” at Rome. Thus completely banning the presence of clients in the wild caves of the region in order to leave this delicate nature in peace. A pilot initiative in this field. |
Practical information
Possible every day of the week upon reservation between 1 April and 30 September.
Possible on Friday, Saturday and Sunday upon reservation between 1 October and 31 March.
